Is this normal?
Christmas party 2006:
O.K. I just know that I'm going to get a hard time from Rocco for posting this photo this way, but c'mon. Is this normal? Otherwise, a fun time was had by all. I can't believe that Adeline is growing up right in front of me.
P.S. Rocco, don't forget about the "magic 8-ball" idea I had. Feel free to run with it.
[Objects in the camera lens may be stranger than they appear]

Left: Captain Content [as in 'satisfied' or 'at ease'] and Right: Rocco Juliano.

#1. Such a scene and others like it require just the right amount of serendipity and fortuosity. Although these chance arrangements cannot be directly created and still be called chance, it may be said that a magnificent random combination of elements such as this one do tend to require a certain purposefullness. Such a scene would indeed have been impossible had it's participants refused to cooperate. These things must be ALLOWED to happen randomly. Therefore, in preparation for a situation in which such a splendid work of art may arrange itself, we must make sure that we do our parts (either presently or beforehand) to insure that at least SOMETHING will come of it. In other words, we must create or become the puzzle pieces ourselves if we are to expect some type of picture to appear. In doing so, we did our parts to create a work of art that was a painting, a play, a door and a window to something marvelous. Otherwise, a deck's just a deck.
#2. It's the same kind of thing we were trying to do with the mustache/bow-tie/millitary helmet/pirate hat/clown shoes/card playing combination at Whispering Pines.
