Pa$$w0rds
O.K. I've had it with passwords lately. Since getting this new server and domain name and ftp account and blog and and and - I've had more passwords to remember. Why not just use the same password for everything you may ask? Well, if the answer's not obvious, I'm not gonna tell you. Basically, I have about half a dozen or so static passwords that I reuse depending on the confidentiality of the userid I'm trying to protect. Other passwords, the ones I care about, have a rolling algorithm. Every six months (or 185 days, whichever comes first) I roll them over to the next instance. It's a nice system because I can basically look at a user name, service/website, date and my majic rolling value and determine what the password is supposed to be.
Well, I just took a look at what I typed and I realize how boring my life is compared to those other Blogs I read from time to time. It's kinda like going to the drugstore and looking through other people's pictures before picking up your own and paying for them. The grass is always greener...
In other news, I'm getting excited about my trip to D this weekend. I know it'll be crowded, but I have to ride the Tower of Terror! If I do nothing else, I want to do that. I'm sure the FastPass will have a 5 hour delay, so I want to get in early on Saturday.
As much fun as I had on my cruise last month, I hope I still like going to Disneyland.

stopover for a 2nd goodbye
She's different. Different from how I remember. She changed. Alot. She looks really healthy. Happy. We chatted. and laughed. We rode our conversation on the surface of what was going on. Nothing too deep. Nothing to think about. Or feel about. Keep it light. keep it simple. keep it to yourself. And all at once, it was time to go. Seemed like we just met. A simple sideways hug, and i was off. but this time i looked. I saw us moving apart. Her in her car - me at the terminal. I'd said goodbye once before - I didn't think I could do it again.
Rule 6
O.K. What's Rule 6? Rule 6 sort of evolved from our difficulty with developing in Lotus Notes. Actually, it grew more out of us wanting it to do things it just clearly didn't do. Sadly, someone has already taken www.rule6.com. An accounting audit firm or something like that - yawn. If you have to be an accounting auditor, the very least you could do is have a cool name. Or at least one everyone else can laugh at (Toilette & Douche).
Well anywho, there's a funny story in here somewhere, but I've got to wash clothes. Sad thing is that while I'm at the laundromat, I'll be pecking away on my laptop. Meeting with the customer tomorrow at 8:30 to give a status report, and I hope to have something worth showing.
